GUANGZHOU WENCHONG DOCKYARD CO.,LTD has two graving docks of 200,000 DWT, 300,000 DWT and wharfs of 1,800 meters in total, with the maximum undertake of 30 DWT. Meanwhile, GWD owns the worksite for offshore module fabrication and is capable for large-scale steel work manufacture and offshore engineering module production.
The dock area is equipped with 2 sets of 32T brachial cranes, 2 sets of 45T brachial cranes and 1 set of 100T brachial crane. And the wharf is equipped with 4 sets of 32T brachial cranes, 2 sets of 45T brachial cranes, 1 set of 15T brachial crane and 1 set of 100T brachial crane. Besides, the manufacture areas are equipped with 6 sets of gauntry cranes.
Three large workshops are located in the shipyard which refers to Structure Workshop, Machinery & Electrical Workshop and Piping Comprehensive Workshop.
48 sets of cherry pickers shad been provided in production, adding the device of sand tank, high pressure cleaning machine and paint spraying machine, etc for grit blasting and coating work. There are air compression stations in docking area and wharf area respectively with the installation of 10 centrifugal air compressors (180 cubic meters/hour) and auxiliary facilities. The two air compression stations makes the gas pipes extended to dock area and connected with the wharf, providing advantage for the coating work.
GUANGZHOU WENCHONG DOCKYARD CO.,LTD built 12 substations with the overall electric capacity of 29000KW. 1#, 3#, 6#, 6A#, 7# and 11# belong to 1# general transformer room whose capacity is 13000KW, mainly providing electricity for dock area and administration quarter. 2#, 8#, 9# and 10# belong to 9# transformer room whose capacity is 16000KW, mainly providing electricity for wharf and workshops.
