The engineering research center in GUANGZHOU WENCHONG DOCKYARD CO.,LTD was inspected and approved by “Guangzhou Research Center for Marine Engineering Equipment Repairing and Key Engineering Modification” in 2014. The research center involves the designing of marine equipments, repairing and modification of vessel, and mainly focuses on developing advantage products of drilling platform, semi-submerged drilling platform, repairing and conversion of floating storage and unloading devices.
The engineering research team is made up of various professional elites. The number of marine engineering staff may pass 100, among which the people with bachelor degree and above is 99, the ones with middle and senior titles is 34, Guangzhou engineering experts occupy 6. The whole engineering team is larger, which takes up 40% of the entire employees. To develop high-tech products and maintain domestic technology leadership in repairing and conversion field, the research center keeps partnership with South China University of Technology, Guangzhou Maritime institute, Guangzhou Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Design and Research Institute and STRI,etc. for continuous improvement.
